A record label by women for women

Who We Are

We are a boutique record label that puts artists at the centre of everything we do. D2D records was founded by Serena Kern-Libera, a musician and lawyer, as a way of supporting and nurturing other young emerging female artists.

At D2D records, we provide a platform and mentoring for artists, helping you get your music heard!

Serena Kern-Libera

Serena Kern-Libera

Founder of D2D Records, Serena is an artist in her own right (stage name Segiri). She set up D2D records as a social enterprise aimed at marrying her love of music with her legal and business background.

Aside from her day job in biotech, Serena is involved in multiple initiatives promoting education, diversity of thought and women.

In 2019, Serena founded a London-based initiative called Discover2Dream, aimed at raising the career aspirations of school students in the UK. Serena is also a director of the Small Countries Financial Management Centre, a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting the growth and prosperity of small countries. She also previously served as Governor of Islington Futures Federation, supporting schools in developing new strategies aimed at bolstering diversity. In addition, Serena was elected to the board of SkillSonics AG, a Swiss social enterprise aimed at upskilling workforces in developing nations including India.

In 2020, she won the prestigious Asian Women of Achievement Award, which recognises the contribution of Asian women to businesses and communities in the UK.

C U Win gets a roaring reception as Pritt performs to a sell-out crowd!

Pritt’s life story shines through her video for C U Win!

Success for Pritt as she lands a show on the BBC Asian Network!

Success for Pritt as she lands a show on the BBC Asian Network!

We are very excited to be working with Pritt on the 2022 release of “C U Win”!

South London-born Pritt is an R&B artist of Tamil heritage.

Her Tamil background permeates her music and gives it a unique feel. Her music is relatable and empowering, all the while maintaining an unorthodox edge with her own take on traditional Carnatic beats.

She has worked with BBC 1Xtra presenter Sian Anderson on the NEXXT STEP: Women in Music project, sponsored by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan. Pritt has also been recognised as one of 8 Future Sounds artists on the BBC Asian Network.

D2D Records is proud to have released “C U Win” in 2022. Since its release, the track has been making waves on the BBC Asian Network & BBC 1Xtra.

Chandni is a British-Indian singer who is influenced by Jazz, Funk and Soul. Of Gujarati heritage, her music is unique and has received support from the BBC Asian Network, Foundation FM and Reprezent Radio. We are delighted to be working with Chandni on her tracks “Gone” & “The Upside”!

Segiri moved to London from India at the age of 18. Her music is a unique mix of dance/pop blends and has been produced by several big names in the industry including Lewis Gardiner (Troye Sivan, Ellie Goulding) One Bit (Stormzy, JP Cooper) and Haj (Sigma, Becky Hill).

Her singles have received strong radio support, including from TCTS on KISS FM and Ashanti Omkar on BBC Radio, who selected ‘Tastes Like Anarchy’ as one of Ashanti’s 2020 Bangers. Her zoom-themed music video, which was shot in lockdown, won the NeXtup Global Indie Music Competition (judged by Zhavia and Chief Keef).

A regular feature on dance and club playlists, her single Undone was ranked #13 on the Swiss Top 100 Dance Chart.

The music business is tough and having mentors who know what they are doing is really important.

At D2D Records we aim to nurture talent and be a springboard for artists to go on and achieve their full potential.
